This practical one-day course is designed for anyone who could find themselves in the spotlight at a time of intense media attention.
With realistic scenarios based around an unfolding crisis situation this 'hands-on' training day will prepare spokespeople to handle press, radio and TV interviews when under pressure.
Our experienced trainers provide expert guidance and tuition to ensure that when a crisis hits you'e in control and well prepared to give clear and confident responses, and if necessary defend the organisation's reputation.
The course is suitable for those who already have some experience of giving media interviews and either facing a challenging news event, or looking to further develop and practice in readiness for a testing situation. For those who require introductory training, we also regulary run a 'Television & Radio Interviews' and a 'Handling Press & Radio Interviews' course. "Very useful. Good 'hands on' approach which helps to make the theory stick!
"One of the most useful courses I have been on - well worth it.
"One of the Directors has said that it is only after half a day with STI that she is not paralysed with fear at the thought of being interviewed by the media. That's quite some impact you've had!
"The training last week was so good I'm thinking of doing a bespoke course for our partners"
